Our Vision for Last Light Running.

Our vision is to build a stronger running community in Colorado Springs by creating a place where every runner feels welcome, whether they’re training for their first mile, chasing a Boston qualifier, preparing for an ultramarathon, or simply running because they love being outside.

We believe running has the power to connect people, improve lives, and strengthen communities. Everything we do is built around advancing that mission.

Today, that means organizing group runs, sharing local trails, celebrating race accomplishments, supporting runners of every ability, and helping inspire the next generation of runners.

Tomorrow, we hope it becomes something even bigger.

Our long-term vision is to create a locally owned running store that sells premium apparel and gear but feels less like a retail shop and more like a community gathering place, a place where people stop in before a run, stay afterward to share stories, learn from one another, discover new trails, plan their next adventure, and build lasting friendships.

We envision a place where local races, run clubs, coaches, and community organizations come together under one roof. A place where someone can walk in alone and leave feeling like they found their running family.

If, years from now, runners think of Last Light as the place where friendships were formed, goals were achieved, and the local running community grew stronger, we’ll consider that our greatest accomplishment.

If we sell great apparel and gear along the way, that’s wonderful.

But the products will never be the purpose.

Community will always come first.

Because we’re not just building a running brand, we’re building a home for runners.

Built for the Long Run.
